Maybe it is just me, but I don't find that useful at all. Do you remember the order of the last five updated threads
when you visit the page again?!?

Or what is that supposed to do/help the user with?

Can we please get a "Show unread posts" too (next to "Show new posts since last visit").

Yes we can get that. Anything for our community celebrity :-)

Click on "View New Content", then click/tick "Forums" and "Content I have not read".

Would you like something like that on the homepage, except it also has a number to indicate how many new replies since you're last visit of that topic? Give me a day and I'll see what I can do as the current method definitely could be improved.

Cheers Freeborne!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work.

It says: No unread posts (which is not correct):

These are the new posts (which is correct):

Yellow starts indicate unseen threads, no?

Is there a way to get an "edit post" box without a WYSIWYG view? I like the hardcore full tags view more.. :-)

Yes, click the light-switch looking button in the WYSIWYG toolbar "toggle editing mode".

You can also upload those pictures here instead of uploading them separately to picfront. When posting, click "More Reply Options" button, and use the Attachments down the bottom, then after uploading the 3 images you click "Add to post" on each one.

picfront is blocked at work so I have to wait until I'm home to view the screenshots.

The switch worked - thanks a lot Freeborne!
The IP.Board designers really have to work on their icon design / settings pages.

Latest Topics tweaked. I can't find any bugs with it now.
  • It will only show topics that have the most recent posts in them (even if you've already read it)
  • It will only show a topic once in the block.
  • If you click the link, it now takes you to the last post YOU read.
  • The avatar and name are displayed of the "last person to post". It also says "last post by" to avoid confusion.
  • The date format is simplified so it says "Today, 08:40 PM"
  • Topics are sorted by most recent post up the top of the block.
Next time it get's updated I'll try to make it just show 'unread topics' for each visitor.

Is it possible to get a distinct 'TIME' field for the calender when adding an event? Currently there is an 'Event Start Date/Time' but it doesn't actually prompt for a specific time.

An additional nice to have would be the ability for the calender to automatically adjust for the reader's timezone. So if someone in perth sets an event for 4 in the afternoon, it shows to a guy in NSW as 7 at night (or whatever the difference is.

I can see alot of merit in this calender system once we start using it regulary.

It defaults to "All Day Event".

If it's an all day event, there is no start time. Not sure how to get rid of the default setting, will look into. For now, untick "all day event" and you can select the time.

I think it already does the timezone adjustments automatically.

Is there a way to get a different "WYSIWYG"/formatting editor? The current one that hides the tags is bad. Ty

Click the toggle editing mode button on the top left (looks like a light switch), it toggles between "design" view and the code view :D

I can replace the switch with a button that says "code" or something if that will help, but you did ask same question a few months back about how to see the code.

Tell me exactly how you want everything to look, or point me to some examples and I'll make a special theme called "kju's theme"

The basic annoyance is that you cannot define the text of an URL by default right?
You need to switch to the code view to fix that.

If not, I am happy to get educated. :D

Yes you can.

You write the text first, then highlight it and click the chain/hyperlink icon to create a link.

So much has changed....pity not many other forums use this style of board. Of all the forums i'm on, this is easily the cleanest and best looking type.

Yeah this thread is pretty old and relates to an older version, not the newest one, thanks for voting 5 though :D
