A worthwhile book. I got the Audible.com version and listened to it on my ipod, finished it yesterday.

The author provides a lot great history and political context about the lead-up to Osama, including the Arab-Israeli conflict etc, and describes a number of specific deaths or military/terrorist events I had never even heard of. He doesn't hold back criticism of the intelligence community in the lead-up to 9/11 and goes into great detail and specifics about who apparently dropped the ball where. There is also a fine layer of operational specifics about what happened on the ground for the Geronimo mission. Timings and what bullets went where. He also advances a theory that the sub-par tradecraft that led to discovering Bin Laden's location etc was actually intended and internally driven by other elements of Al Qaeda. The book wasn't overly thick with the rah-rah America stuff. I'd recommend it.

Cheers,
