I still haven't got around to trying TKOH yet, but I have to admit this looks interesting.

I brought ToH awhile back... for me it didn't really cut it, I found it a little boring, though this DLC sounds like it might add the right amount of spice.

I play DCS Black Shark a bit and although its very hard, frustrating (trying to find the right keys/controls... and there are many) and time consuming its fun.

I think BI are on the right track with this kinda approch, can see many more DLC's... AH-1, AH-64, KA-52 even the AH-6 :(

I've got TOH, but as a mouse/KB player I'm pretty much forced to use the "middle" difficulty setting, as trying to trim your chopper without being able to finetune your pedals is exceedingly difficult.

I'm keen as anything for the DLC though, big fan of the Hind. Hopefully more and more choppers find themselves represented within.

yeah I bought it as well, played the (very short) campaign. I thought it was fun, however I haven't played it since I completed it. The good thing about it is that it will hopefully come to arma 3 :(

Wasn't this not the point of ToH? I mean, they made it as a civil based game, marketed it as such...and then turned it into Arma?

Mind you i still haven't downloaded my copy....

I personally believe we will see everything in ToH end up in ARMA3 anyway. Everything about the two games are similar, just ToH is ahead of the game (pun intended) and allows some development time for the real bread-winner, ARMA3 to be the all-singing-all-dancing trequel.

Conversion of SQF to Java is a good example of that, then there is improved flight dynamics and cockpit details - I reckon we'll see all of those in the next ARMA installment.

Arma 3 will also have Java scripting available, so its introduction in TKOH is to ensure the implementation can mature before that game is released.
